Schengen visa applications in the USA is now being handled by VFS Global Visa centers

The Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania in New York does not accept or process applications for the issuance of Schengen or national visas.

Third-country nationals legally residing in the US can apply for a Schengen visa at VFS Global visa centers. More detailed information is published on the VFS Global visa website Applications for Schengen visas lodged in at VFS Global visa centers are forwarded to the Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania in Chicago, which will carry out the necessary application procedures.

Information on the issue of national visas and residence permits in Lithuania will be provided by the Migration Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs: by phone +370 5 271 7112 and e-mail info@migracija.gov.lt More detailed information is published on the Migration department website.
