Services and fees
- The specific amounts of the consular fee in euros are approved by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania.
- At the Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania in New York, the consular fee is paid in US dollars.
- You can pay the consular fee only by credit or debit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, etc.) or by money order. The money order should be addressed to the Consulate of Lithuania in New York.
- Cash and personal checks are not accepted.

The consular fee at the Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania in New York is paid in US dollars by bank card.
The exchange rate is reviewed once a month, based on the exchange rate published by the European Central Bank. The published consular fee amounts in US dollars are valid from 1 of April 2025 (euro to US dollar ratio: 1 EUR – 1.0811 USD).

Personal documents sending service by mail.
Newly issued Lithuanian documents (passport, personal identity card, card password envelope) can be sent by insured, signed-for delivery parcel using the services of the United States Postal Service for an additional fee upon written request of the person.
These are provided United States Postal Service rates:
-35.55 US dollars (urgent shipment within 1-3 business days);
-22.85 US dollars (shipment within 5 business days).
Attention! In accordance with the provisions of Article 6, paragraph 12 of the Law on Personal Identity Cards and Passports of the Republic of Lithuania, personal documents may be sent only if the personal data in them has not changed (name, surname, gender, date of birth, personal identification number).
